Funeral services for Patrick Duane Crow Sr. “Maza,” age 55, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD with Sister Barb officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Ivis Long Visitor.
Burial will be at Our Lady of the Sioux Catholic Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD.
Patrick was a veteran in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea for four years.
He was born on November 6, 1960 in Pine Ridge, SD to Robert M. Crow and Francis (Loafer Joe) Bear Saves Life. He made his journey to the Spirit World on September 23, 2016 in Minneapolis, MN.
Patrick is survived by children Patrick Crow Jr. of Minneapolis, MN, Henry Crow of Minnesota, and Johnny and Miranda Crow of Lawrence, KS; sisters Pam Crow of Washington, Trudy Norman and Coleen Crow of Nebraska, Kathy Crow of Nevada, and Avis and Cheryl Crow of Oglala, SD; and brothers Verdell Bear Saves Life Sr., Claire Bear Saves Life, Pernell Crow and Perry Crow, all of Oglala, SD.
Patrick was preceded in death by parents Robert M. Crow and Francis (Loafer Joe) Bear Saves Life; brothers Spencer Crow Sr., Roderic Crow, and Daryl Crow, Floyd Bear Saves Life; Hunka brother James “Woody” Little; daughter Henrietta Crow; and grandparents Jessie and Isaac Crow.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Patrick Duane Crow Sr. “Maza.”
