09/29/2016 - Cheryl Renee Hatchett
Memorial services for Cheryl Renee Hatchett, age 51, will be at 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Reverend Abraham Tobacco and Pastor William Quijas officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Floyd Hand.
Burial will be held at a later date.
Cheryl was born on November 24, 1964 in Pine Ridge, SD to Christopher Hatchett Sr. and Verlean Eleanor Ice. She made her journey to the Spirit World on September 26, 2016 at the Hospice of the Hills in Rapid City, SD.
Cheryl is survived by sons Christopher “CJ” Hatchett III of Sioux Falls, SD and Joshua K. Hatchett of Wounded Knee, SD; daughters Lariah High Hawk of Rapid City, SD; brothers Gerard Kills Enemy of Chadron, NE and Manuel Hatchett of Rapid City, SD; sisters Sandra Fire Lightning of Rapid City, SD and Kristen Antone of Denver, CO; and grandchildren Christopher Hatchett IV, Marlaida Hatchett, Xyllie Running Enemy, Janice Oatman and Baby Boy Zuya Lovejoy.
Cheryl was preceded in death by parents Christopher I. Hatchett Sr. and Verlean Ice and siblings James A. Kills Enemy, Mona Lee Hatchett, and Chris I. Hatchett Jr.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Cheryl Renee Hatchett.
