Cante’ Suta Win (Strong Heart Woman) “Annie” Colhoff (Poor Bear) was born on January 26, 1982 in Pine Ridge, SD to Webster C. Poor Bear and Wilma J. Colhoff.  She made her journey across the Milky Way on September 29, 2016 in Pine Ridge, SD.

Annie was a genuine human being that loved every person that allowed themselves to get to know her. She loved her mother dearly and made sure she checked on her every day. She had a special connection to each and every one of her nieces and nephews that they will continue to carry with them. Annie treasured her brothers and sisters and the relationship they had. She was a loving, caring daughter, auntie, niece, cousin and relative that touched the lives of many, and will be dearly missed. 

Annie is survived by her mother, Wilma Colhoff of Pine Ridge, SD; special friend, Louis Winters of Pine Ridge, SD; brothers, James Colhoff, Sean Poor Bear, Heath Two Two, Manuel Bad Milk and Newton Two Two, all of Pine Ridge, SD; sisters, Renita Poor Bear, Vanessa Bad Milk, and Priscilla Bad Milk, all of Pine Ridge, SD, Shannon Poor Bear and Leslie Two Two, both of Rapid City, SD, Pte San Win “Babe” Poor Bear of Omaha, NE, and Jillian Poor Bear of Denver, CO; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.

Annie was preceded in death by her father, Webster C. Poor Bear; sisters, Anpo Wicahpi Yuhapi Win “Shelli” Poor Bear and Mary Two Two; brother, Daniel Bad Milk; aunts, Beverly Colhoff and Kimberly Colhoff; and grandparents, James Colhoff, Annie Mesteth-Colhoff, Mabel Red Shirt, Enos Poor Bear, Vestana Colhoff and Sophie Morgan-Colhoff.

Wake Services:  Two night wake service starting at 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD

Funeral Services:  2:00 PM, Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD

Traditional Lakota Services: Mr. Chris Brooks

Burial Services: Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Pine Ridge, SD
