10/13/2016 - Ella (Bush) Good Crow
Funeral services for Ella Agnes (Bush) Good Crow “Wiyake Ska Win,” age 93, will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Father Pauly Hall in Porcupine, SD with Father Christopher Johnson, S.J., and Joyce Tibbitts officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Rick Two Dogs and Greg Ross.
Burial will be at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Porcupine, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Father Pauly Hall in Porcupine, SD.
Ella was born on July 21, 1923 at home in Wounded Knee, SD to William and Grace (Yankton) Bush. She made her journey to the Spirit World on October 5, 2016 at the PineRidgeI.H.S.Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Ella is survived by children Verdel Good Crow of Portland, OR and Philip Good Crow and Lucille Good Crow of Porcupine, SD; two grandchildren she raised since they were babies Alva Good Crow and Darcy Good Crow; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Ella was preceded in death by parents William and Grace Bush; spouse Charles Steve Good Crow; children Aloysius Good Crow, Lawrence “Larry” Good Crow, Lavonne Good Crow, Patrick Good Crow, and Lyle Good Crow; brothers Percy Bush, Vincent Bush, and Leo Bush; and sisters Margaret Red Eagle and Amelia Bush.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Ella Agnes (Bush) Good Crow “Wiyake Ska Win.”
