10/20/2016 - Savannah Diamond Skye
Funeral services for Savannah Carla Diamond Skye, age 21, will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Kennedy Hall in Wanblee, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Russell Eagle Bear.
Burial will be at the Black Crow Family Cemetery in Wanblee, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the Kennedy Hall in Wanblee, SD.
Savannah was born on April 20, 1995 in Pine Ridge, SD to Martin Skye and Mary (DeCory) Skye. She made her journey to the Spirit World on October 13, 2016 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Savannah is survived by parents Martin Skye and Mary (DeCory) Skye of Sioux Falls, SD; sisters Mariah D. Skye and Elizabeth K. Skye of Sioux Falls, SD; brother Sage M. Skye of Sioux Falls, SD; uncles Clifton Skye of Neopit, WI and Willard (Rachel) DeCory of Wanblee, SD; aunts Winona Skye of Neopit, WI, Rhonda (Lloyd) Wilcox and Dorothy DeCory of Wanblee, SD, and Genevieve DeCory of Rosebud, SD; grandparents Clarence W. Skye of Pierre, SD and Ferial E. Deer of Neopit, WI; cousins Sylvia, Amanda, Lloyd Jr., and Kalob Wilcox of Wanblee, SD, Irving Jr., Ivory and Eve Sallette of Rosebud, SD, Damon Eagle Star of Sioux Falls, SD, Brian Eagle Star of Gregory, SD, and Willard III, Daniel and Jacob DeCory of Wanblee, SD; niece Aurorah Skye of Sioux Falls, SD; and nephew Orion Skye of Sioux Falls, SD.
Savannah was preceded in death by grandparents Willard Sr. and Sylvia DeCory and Selo and Catherine Black Crow; and aunt Carla DeCory.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements of Savannah Carla Diamond Skye.
