Funeral services for Desmond Wayne Walking (Mousseaux), age 2 months, will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with Father Edmund Yainao, S.J., and Charles McGaa officiating.
Burial will be at the Cheyenne Creek Cemetery near Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD.
Desmond was born on August 1, 2016 in Rapid City, SD to Annie Walking and Ronald Mosseaux Jr. He made his journey to the Spirit World on October 17, 2016 in Omaha, NE.
Desmond is survived by parents Annie Walking and Ronald Mousseaux Jr. of Pine Ridge, SD; sister Taylor Ann Mousseaux and brother Obadiah Mousseaux of Pine Ridge, SD; and grandparents Darrell and Wanda Walking of Pine Ridge, SD.
Desmond was preceded in death by great-grandfathers Richard Walking Sr. and Leon LaCota Jr. and great-grandmother Jewel Frazier.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Desmond Wayne Walking (Mousseaux).
