Funeral services for Vincent Von Brewer III “Cetan Nagi,” age 29, will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Wolf Creek School Gymnasium near Pine Ridge, SD with Father Christopher Johnson, S.J., officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Patrick Janis.
Burial will be at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Porcupine, SD.
A two-night wake service will start at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Wolf Creek School Gymnasium near Pine Ridge, SD.
Pallbearers will be Charles Schrader Jr., Casey Means, Jamie Dreamer, James Red Cloud, Sky Brewer, Bubz High Wolf, Harold Brewer Jr., Cole Brewer, Derek Tyon, Tre Luger, Daelan High Wolf, Chuck Colhoff, McKenzie Casey and Jerm Crow.
Vincent was born on July 19, 1987 in Pine Ridge, SD to Vincent Brewer Jr. and Lisa High Wolf. He made his journey to the Spirit World on October 16, 2016 in Pine Ridge, SD.
Vincent is survived by parents Vincent Brewer Jr. and Lisa High Wolf of Pine Ridge, SD; significant other Amanda Cordova of Rapid City, SD; sons Vincent Brewer IV, Darien Brewer and John Julius Brewer, all of Rapid City, SD; brothers Charles Schrader and Harley “Ray Ray” High Wolf of Rapid City, SD; sisters Tyschae, Schaevon and Trish Brewer, all of Pine Ridge, SD and Tara Curry of Kyle, SD; grandmother Alvina Brewer of Pine Ridge, SD; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Vincent was preceded in death by brother Raymond (High Wolf) Brewer and grandparents Vincent Brewer Sr., Audrey High Wolf and Raymond High Wolf Jr.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Vincent Von Brewer III “Cetan Nagi.”
