Funeral services for Acorn Aaron Adams, age 39, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Porcupine Presbyterian Hall in Porcupine, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating. Traditional Lakota services are To Be Announced.
Burial will be at the Bear Runner Family Cemetery in Porcupine, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Porcupine Presbyterian Hall in Porcupine, SD.
Acorn was born on August 9, 1977 in Pine Ridge, SD to Leon Adams Sr. and Lillian Bear Runner. He made his journey to the Spirit World on October 19, 2016 in Rapid City, SD.
Acorn is survived by father Leon Adams Sr. of Pine Ridge, SD; son Tanner Adams of Rapid City, SD; daughters Sarah Jumping Eagle of Manderson, SD and Jordan Adams of Rapid City, SD; brothers Marvin Richard Jr. and Alton Adams of Pine Ridge, SD and Leon Adams J.R. of Sioux Falls, SD; sisters Marla Richard and Liberty, Amber and Sarah Adams, all of Pine Ridge, SD; and grandchild Evianna Jumping Eagle.
Acorn was preceded in death by mother Lillian Bear Runner; sister Liane Adams; brothers Colbert and Marty Richards; and grandparents Oscar and Grace Bear Runner and Russell and Sarah Adams.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Acorn Aaron Adams.
