Funeral services for David Thomas Two Lance “Big Pun,” age 28, will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the St. Agnes Catholic ChurchHall in Manderson, SD with Orin Grinnell and TBA.
Burial will be at the Messiah Episcopal Church Cemetery in Wounded Knee, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin with the first night starting at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD. The second night will start at 4:30 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the St. Agnes Catholic Church Hall in Manderson, SD.
David was born on October 26, 1987 in Pine Ridge, SD to Calvin J. Two Lance and Lisa Lone Hill. He made his journey to the Spirit World on October 25, 2016 in Rapid City, SD.
David is survived by mother Lisa Lone Hill of Manderson, SD; brothers Travis Lone Hill and Benjamin Smoke Jr. of Manderson, SD, Orin Grinnell of New Town, ND, Cody Two Lance of Rapid City, SD, and Brian Two Lance Sr. of Batesland, SD; sisters Melissa Benoist and Larissa Lone Hill of Manderson, SD, Carol Piper and Melanie Grinnell of Rapid City, SD, Marissa Pulliam of Wakpamni, SD, and Courtney Two Lance of Batesland, SD; godfather Vincent “Buzzy” Two Lance of Wakpamni, SD; nieces Stevie Gene LaDeaux of Manderson, SD, Jesslyn Cottier of Allen, SD, Summer Benoist and Estelle Pulliam of Wakpamni, SD, Sipprianna Lone Hill of Pine Ridge, SD, Charlene Piper, Coral Piper, Shaylyn Grinnell and Orinda Grinnell, all of Rapid City, SD, Elisa Means of Porcupine, SD, and Julia and Cecelia Two Lance of Batesland, SD; and nephews Rodney LaDeaux of Hot Springs, SD, Michael LaDeaux, Wakinya Watakpe Comes Flying, Wahokiza Nunpa Comes Flying, and Derrick Alan Comes Flying, all of Rapid City, SD, George and Cashes Cottier of Allen, SD, Zuya Luta Shot to Pieces of Wounded Knee, SD, Sokowin Lone Hill of Pine Ridge, SD, Anthony Pulliam and Sody Pulliam Jr. of Wakpamni, SD, and Conrad Two Lance, Brian Two Lance Jr. and Moses Two Lance, all of Batesland, SD.
David was preceded in death by father Calvin J. Two Lance; baby brother Quincy Daniel Lone Hill; aunt Mabel Two Lance; uncles Edgar Lone Hill Jr. and Gordon Lone Hill; nieces Gabriella Pulliam and Baby Piper; nephews Gabriel Pulliam and Baby Piper; and grandparents Cecelia Charging Thunder, David F. Two Lance, Regina Norma Looks Twice, and Edgar Lone Hill.
