Funeral services for Gaylord Dion Frog “G-Man,” age 56, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating. Traditional Lakota services are To Be Announced.
Burial will be at the White Butterfly-Catches Family Cemetery, Mission Flat, in Pine Ridge, SD.
A visitation service will be from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD.
Gaylord was born on December 28, 1960 in Pine Ridge, SD to Dennis Frog and Lila Pretty Boy. He made his journey to the Spirit World on October 27, 2016 in Rapid City, SD.
Gaylord is survived by mother Lila Pretty Boy-Cortier of #4 Community in Pine Ridge, SD; son Oliver Red Feather of Sioux Falls, SD; daughters Lucy Frog of Rapid City, SD, Belva Perez and Gaylene Kills Back of Porcupine, SD; stepdaughters Glorietta Fighting Bear of Riverton, WY and Talise Fighting Bear of Pine Ridge, SD; stepsons Dexter Spoonhunter of Riverton, WY and Leon Spoonhunter of Salt Lake City, UT; brothers Marty Frog Sr. of Porcupine, SD and Michael Frog of Rapid City, SD; sisters Louise Frog of Rapid City, SD, Denise Frog-Kills Back and Wallean Frog of Porcupine, SD, and Catherine Keeton of Kansas City, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Gaylord was preceded in death by stepmother Philomena Iron Cloud-Frog, father Dennis Frog, and son Rueben John Frog.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements of Gaylord Dion Frog “G-Man.”
