Larry passed away at his home on November 1, 2016 after living many years with severe pain, type 1 diabetes, depression, and multiple health problems following an injury while working on the railroad. Larry was born on October 23, 1952.
He is survived by loving mother Maxine S. Chizek Deans (Bernard) of Lakewood, CO; sister Beverly Sullivan (Bill); nephews and their families of Birmingham, AL; sister Linda Baker; a niece and her family of Arvada, CO; two daughters that he has been estranged from since they were quite young; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Larry enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting until his health prevented such activities. He loved animals and at one point worked for the Denver Dumb Friends Rescue. He painted beautiful oil landscapes and had a wonderful sense of humor. The family knows he is pain free and at peace with the Lord. They will miss him and will carry him in their hearts every day.
