11/12/2016 - Logan Jay Stadnick

Funeral services for Logan Jay Stadnick, age 36, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Porcupine School Gymnasium in Porcupine, SD with Father Rick Abert, S.J., officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Chris Brooks.
 
Burial will be at the American Horse Road in Kyle, SD.
 
A one-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Porcupine School Gymnasium in Porcupine, SD.
 
Logan was born on November 15, 1979 in Pine Ridge, SD to Robert Stadnick and Corrine Ruff. He made his journey to the Spirit World on October 31, 2016 in Globe, AZ.
 
Logan loved his son Zayne, niece Liana, all of his family, and his dog, Gustav very much; there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for them. Logan’s life was filled with laughter, heartache, and love; he had an energetic personality and loved the outdoors. If Logan wasn’t golfing or fishing, he was playing poker, skiing, or traveling. He lived a full life of adventure and excitement. He traveled to many destinations, experiencing and enjoying different ethnic foods and cultures.  Logan was a food critic; he enjoyed trying all types of foods and sharing this passion with everyone. He was a very intelligent young man and was also fluent in German. 
 
Logan suddenly left behind his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his good deeds, caring heart, and lively personality. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. 
 
Logan is survived by wife Michelle (Weston) Stadnick of Porcupine, SD; stepson Zayne Weston of Porcupine, SD; brothers Allen (Marlene) Stadnick of Thibodaux, LA, Robin (Tammy) Stadnick Sr. of Hardin, MT, and Arthur Clifford Jr. of Kyle, SD; sisters Lorraine (Troy Reine) Chetta of New Orleans, LA, Constance Stadnick and Jessy (Kevin) Arsiaga of Lincoln, NE, Serena (Julian) Rosales of Kyle, SD, Sunny Clifford of Wanblee, SD, Kristina Clifford of Kyle, SD, and Celestine and Caroline Stadnick of Switzerland; grandmother Phyllis Clifford of Rapid City, SD; and stepmother Isabel Stadnick of Kyle, SD.
 
Logan was preceded in death by parents Robert Stadnick and Corrine Ruff and brother Clarence Stadnick.
 
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Logan Jay Stadnick.
