Funeral services for Ellowyn Sharon Locke, age 68, will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Father Pauly Hall in Porcupine, SD with Pastor Albert Sutton officiating.
Burial will be at St. Julia’s Episcopal Cemetery in Porcupine, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Father Pauly Hall in Porcupine, SD.
Ellowyn was born on January 23, 1948 in Pine Ridge, SD to James F. Locke and Gladys (Short Horn) Locke. She made her journey to the Spirit World on December 7, 2016 at Rapid CityRegionalHospital in Rapid City, SD.
Ellowyn is survived by brothers Clement, Darrell and Merle Locke, all of Porcupine, SD; sisters Priscilla and Cheryl Locke of Porcupine, SD, Debra Locke of Pierre, SD, and Phyllis “Tiny” Brewer of Pine Ridge, SD; special friend Anthony Bush of Porcupine, SD; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Ellowyn was preceded in death by parents James and Gladys (Short Horn) Locke; sister Francis Afraid of Hawk; brother Duane Locke; nieces Michelle and Maria Afraid of Hawk; nephew Michael Afraid of Hawk; and granddaughter Cleshelle Afraid of Hawk.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Ellowyn Sharon Locke.
