There will be no memorial services for Maurice Anthony Gibson, age 68, of Rogers, AR, formerly of Chadron, NE.
A memorial has been established. Donations may be made to the Rogers Humane Society, 407 E. Nursery Road, Rogers, AR 72758 or the Paralyzed Veterans of America at www.pva.org.

Maurice passed from this life on December 14, 2016 in Bentonville, AR. He was born July 28, 1948 in Albany, GA to Forrest Eugene and Anna Rae (Lumpkin) Gibson.
Maurice traveled the world as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy. He loved woodworking, gardening and animals, especially his dog, Donnelly. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents; half-brother Joseph Gibson; and grandson Zackory Muma. Survivors include wife Bonnie Beatrice (Dewitt) Gibson; children Crystal Rae Gibson of Chadron, NE, Rick Gibson of Rogers, AR, Jennifer L. Morphis and her husband Greg of Benton, AR, and William F. Gibson and his wife Atsuko of Federal Way, WA; siblings Earl Gibson of Pensacola, FL, Bill Gibson and his wife Lori of Aurora, CO, and Kenny Gibson and his wife Nancy of Milton, FL; and grandchildren Aidan Raine Morphis and Mei Akabane Gibson.
