Funeral services for Stanley Thomas Kindle, age 74, will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD. The officiant is To Be Announced.
Burial will be at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD.
Stanley was born on November 11, 1942 in Oglala, SD to Steve Kindle and Julia Left Hand. He made his journey to the Spirit World on December 21, 2016 at the SisterJamesCareCenter in Yankton, SD.
Stanley is survived by grandchildren Maretta Afraid of Bear of Oglala, SD, Mary Ellen Janis of Slim Buttes, SD, and Al Afraid of Bear of Oglala, SD; niece Aleta Morrison of Oglala, SD; nephew Gerald Lame of Rapid City, SD; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Stanley was preceded in death by parents Steve and Julia (Left Hand) Kindle; sister Ollie Kindle; nieces Darlene Lame-Afraid of Bear and Adele Lame; and nephew Robert Lame.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Stanley Thomas Kindle.
