Funeral services for Juan Diego Legarda Jr. “Mahpiya Ocuwa,” age 21, will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD with David Lays Bad officiating.
Burial will be at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD.
Juan Diego Legarda Jr. was born on August 12, 1995 in Sioux Falls, SD to Juan Legarda Sr. and Christine (Randall) Legarda. He passed away on January 1, 2017 in Rapid City, SD.
Juan is survived by mother Christine (Randall) Legarda of Rapid City, SD; father Juan Legarda Sr. of California; fiancé Brenda Siles of Rapid City, SD; daughter Evalyn Legarda of Rapid City, SD; brothers Bradley Randall and Matthew Legarda of Rapid City, SD; sisters Anicia Legarda of Maywood, CA, Addelany Legarda and Anilee Legarda of Rapid City, SD; grandparents Pearline Yellow Wolf of Kyle, SD and Maria DeJesus of Mexico; and aunt Doreen War Bonnett-Hard Heart of Rapid City, SD.
Juan was preceded in death by grandfathers Jose Legarda and Theodore Edward Randall Sr.; great-grandmother Leah Hollow Horn Bear-Randall; aunt Lisa Randall; and uncle Luis Legarda.
