01/20/2017 - Elizabeth 'Beth' Red Feather
Funeral services for Elizabeth “Beth” Grace Red Feather “Zintkala Ho Waste’ste’” (Bird with a Pretty Voice), age 36, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD with Father Rick Abert, S.J., officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Richard Moves Camp.
Burial will be at the Stover Family Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM at Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD.
Elizabeth was born on December 7, 1980 in Gordon, NE to Lenus Red Feather Jr. and Donna Stover. She made her journey to the Spirit World on January 12, 2017 in Rapid City, SD.
Elizabeth is survived by mother Donna Stover of Kyle, SD; father Lenus Red Feather Jr. of Sutherland, OR; brothers Samuel (Veronica) Red Feather of Martin, SD, Edward (Antanelle) Red Feather of Globe, AZ, Wakinyan Red Feather of Seattle, WA, Gabe Red Feather of Mendocino, CA, and Talon Red Feather of Aurora, CO; sisters Whisper (Eric) Stombaugh of Las Vegas, NV and Tiffany Two Crow of Hot Springs, SD; godchildren Marcus Janis of Batesland, SD, Lila Brave Heart of Kyle, SD, and Clyde Two Crow of Rapid City, SD; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Oliver (Ben) and Evelyn Stover; paternal grandparents Myrtle Howard, Lavern Little Bull, and Lenus Red Feather Sr.; cousins Quintina A. Stover, James D. Stover, Cody O. Hamilton, Jaylen J. Veo, Arlyn W. Stover, and Cynthia A. Friedman.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Elizabeth “Beth” Grace Red Feather “Zintkala Ho Waste’ste’” (Bird with a Pretty Voice).
