Funeral services for James Lame-Cottier, age 46, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD with Elder Madeline Terry officiating.
Burial will be at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 4:30 PM on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD.
James passed away on January 12, 2017 in Sioux Falls, SD.
James was preceded in death by parents Nathan Cottier and Eloise Lame; paternal grandparents Gilbert Cottier and Gladys Walks Under the Ground; and maternal grandparents Charles Lame and Ethel Little Bear.
He is survived by numerous cousins and relatives.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for James Lame-Cottier.
