Funeral services for Theresa Ann LaDeaux “Wakinyan Luta Win” will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD with Father Rick Abert, S.J., and Joyce Tibbitts officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Doug Patton.
Burial will be at Pine Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD.
Theresa was born on February 19, 1976 in Rapid City, SD to Adolf Garcia and Darlene (Sound Sleeper) Garcia. She made her journey to the Spirit World on February 11, 2017 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver, CO.
Theresa is survived by spouse Mervin LaDeaux of Rapid City, SD; children Jacob LaDeaux and Izabella LaDeaux of Rapid City, SD; mother Darlene (Sound Sleeper) Garcia of Rapid City, SD; brother Ruben Garcia of Rapid City, SD; and sisters Stella Brown Eyes and Leonora Garcia of Rapid City, SD.
Theresa was preceded in death by father Adolf Garcia and brother Michael Garcia.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Theresa Ann LaDeaux “Wakinyan Luta Win.”
