Funeral services for Darren Dale Brings Plenty “Lakota Wicasa Waciupo” (All Lakota Men Come Dancing), age 47, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 4, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Reverend David Brings Plenty, Leonard Brings Plenty, and Enoch Brings Plenty officiating.
Burial will be at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Darren was born on May 25, 1969 in Pine Ridge, SD to Vincent and Lucille (Chase Alone) Brings Plenty. He made his journey to the Spirit World on February 25, 2017 at the Hospice of the Hills in Rapid City, SD.
Darren is survived by son Robert Brown Eyes of Rapid City, SD; daughter Caitlin Cross of Rapid City, SD; brothers Don Roy Brings Plenty of Porcupine, SD, Duane Brings Plenty of Evergreen, SD, and Darrell Brings Plenty and Delano Brings Plenty of Pine Ridge, SD; and grandchildren Wiconi Brown Eyes and Cameron Cross of Rapid City, SD.
Darren was preceded in death by parents Vincent and Lucille Brings Plenty and sisters Vincencia Brings Plenty, Madelyn (Brings Plenty) Janis, and Crystal Brings Plenty.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Darren Dale Brings Plenty.
