Funeral services for 37-year old Waylon Scott Brave Heart will be Saturday morning (March 25) at 10:00 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD, with Father Father Rick Abert, S.J., officiating and traditional Lakota Services by Ms. Darla Black
Burial will be at St. Stephan's Catholic Church Cemetery, also in Kyle,
A two-night wake service will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows, starting Thursday and Friday at 4:00.

Waylon Scott Brave Heart, "Wawokiye Wicasa," was born on September 11, 1979 in Gordon, NE to Marlene Brave Heart. Waylon made his journey to the Spirit World on March 19, 2017 in Martin, SD.
Waylon is survived by his mother, Marlene Brave Heart of Kyle, SD; children, Braydon Brave Heart and Keyshon Brave Heart both of Kyle, SD; spouse, Natasha Young Bear of Kyle, SD; brother, Jason Brave Heart of Rapid City, SD; sister, Shannon Tuttle of Rapid City, SD;
Also by unncles, Garfield Iron Crow, Elwin Brave Heart, Eli Brave Heart, Aloysius Brave Heart, and Anthony Brave Heart all of Kyle, SD, and Myron Brave Heart of Allen, SD; aunts, Mercy Iron Crow, Arlene Iron Crow, Anita Brave Heart and Susie Brave Heart all of Kyle, SD; and grandmother, Alberta Mesteth of Kyle, SD.
Waylon was preceded in death by his brother, Jamie Brave Heart; sister, Antoinette Brave Heart; uncle, Virgil James Iron Crow; and grandparents, Alphonso and Jennie (Chief Bear-Leonard) Brave Heart.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Ferguson, James Bull Bear, Alsie LeBeau, Louis Vocu, Tony Maruffo, Dennis White Thunder, Rich White, Marty Mesteth, Jr., Larry Romero, Daniel Moe Stover, Terry Little Whiteman, and Sylvester Two Bulls.
