A Mass of Christian Burial for Gina LuRee LaMont, age 49, will be at 9:30 AM on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Martin, SD with Father Tyler Dennis officiating.
Burial will be at Grace Cemetery in Martin, SD.
Visitation services will be from 3:00-7:00 PM on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Martin, SD.
A Rosary service will be at 7:00 PM on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Martin, SD.
Gina was born on February 21, 1968 in Pine Ridge, SD to Frank Douthit and Ione LaMont. She made her journey to the Spirit World on March 30, 2017 at Rapid CityRegionalHospital in Rapid City, SD.
Gina is survived by mother Ione LaMont of Martin, SD; special friend Darrell Barnum of Martin, SD; brothers Pete Douthit of Arkansas, “Peewee” Douthit of Hot Springs, SD, Shane Fish of Columbia, MD, and Clarence Thayer of Manassas, VA; sisters Donna LaMont of Martin, SD, Jolene O’Hara of Hankinson, ND and Millie Blue Bird of Sioux Falls, SD; and nieces and nephews Marci and Shilo LaMont of Spearfish, SD, Triston and LaMeera Mills and Sally Douthit, all of Martin, SD, Travis Fish of Merriman, NE, Michael, Jackson, and Shelby Fish, all of Columbia, MD, Susan Douthit of Oregon, Jack Douthit of Hot Springs, SD, Craig Douthit of Newell, SD, and Krista Santiago of Arkansas.
Gina was preceded in death by father Frank Douthit; stepfather Marvin Bettelyoun; brothers Jerry Douthit and Tilden LaMont; and grandparents Josephine and Vincent LaMont Sr.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Gina LuRee LaMont.
