Aqualynne Rosalind Garnette was born on June 5, 1945 in Pine Ridge, SD to Leroy, Sr. and Josephine (Palmier) Janis. Aqualynne made her journey to the Spirit World on April 22, 2017 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Aqualynne is survived by her children, Dawn (Jon Red Owl) Iron Cloud, Myreen (Ron Ferguson, Sr.) Iron Cloud, Monique (Dean) Two Crow, Jodie (Dave Red Owl) Janis, Gary (Mert) Garnette, Jr., T.D. (Tiffiny) Garnette, and Richard “Friday” Garnette all of Kyle, SD; sister, Lenora Watters of Pine Ridge, SD, 34 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Aqualynne was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy, Sr. and Josephine Janis; spouse, Gary Garnette, Sr; sisters, Marge Sierra, Marion Gray, and Geraldine Janis; brothers, Sunshine Janis, Gerald Janis, Wilbert Janis, Gilbert Janis, Ardie Janis, Donald Janis, Lynn Mervin Janis, Delbert Janis, and Baby Boy Janis; and grandson, Trevor Iron Cloud

Wake Services:  One night wake service starting at 3:00 PM, Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Little Wound School Small Gymnasium in Kyle, SD

Funeral Services:  10:00 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Little Wound School Small Gymnasium
