04/25/2017 - Arvene R. Primeaux

Arvene R. Primeaux was born on September 9, 1969 in St. Paul, MN to Francis and Delores (Arapaho) Primeaux.  Arvene made her journey to the Spirit World on April 21, 2017 at the Hospice of the Hills in Rapid City, SD.

Arvene lived in Rapid City and worked as a case service manager and as an administrative assistant; she was also a full time mother.  Arvene was also a champion Fancy Dancer.  Arvene was a very motivational and outgoing woman; she was very active in sports during high school and qualified for the swimming team in Junior Olympics.  She will be greatly missed by her entire family and all who knew her. 

Arvene is survived by her children, Sheri Danielle Good Voice Elk, Arlyn Primeaux, and Gary Primeaux all of Rapid City, SD, and Sherina Rose Good Voice Elk of Walthill, NE; siblings, Verdell Primeaux of Chadron, NE, Mitchell Primeaux of Rapid City, SD, Francine Wallace of Sioux Falls, SD, and Soloman Red Bear of Rapid City, SD; and sister-in-law, Melissa Red Bear of Rapid City, SD.

Arvene was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Delores Primeaux; brothers, Francis Primeaux, Jr. and Troy Gilbert Primeaux; and nephew, Desmond Nathan Primeaux.

Wake Services:  One night wake service starting at 6:00 PM, Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Allen CAP Office in Allen, SD

Funeral Services:  10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Allen CAP Office in Allen, SD.

Traditional Lakota Services:  Mr. Verdell Primeaux

Burial Services:  St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Allen, SD
