03/27/2018 - Evianna Marie Brown
Funeral services for Evianna Marie Brown, age 4 months and 14 days, will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Wanblee CAP Office in Wanblee, SD with Father Ed Hunt, Reverend Cordelia Red Owl, and Lay Readers Johnny Wilson and Rita Brown officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Richard Moves Camp.
Burial will be at the Gethsemane Episcopal Cemetery in Wanblee, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Wanblee CAP Office in Wanblee, SD. Prayer services will begin at 7:00 PM.
Evianna was born on November 5, 2017 in Rapid City, SD to Quentin Brown and Kendra Horned Antelope. She made her journey to the Spirit World on March 19, 2018 at her home in Rapid City, SD.
Evianna is survived by parents Quentin Brown and Kendra Horned Antelope of Rapid City, SD; siblings Emanuel Brown and Elianna Brown of Rapid City, SD; grandparents Annette and Art Red Owl of Kyle, SD, Lee and Darcie Horned Antelope and Sonja White Horse, all of Rapid City, SD; great-grandmothers Shirley Pumpkin Seed and Sylvia Brown of Wanblee, SD and Teresa Gomez of Rapid City, SD; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Evianna was preceded in death by grandparents Edward Brown and Troy Pumpkin Seed; great-grandparents Gerald Brown, George Pumpkin Seed Sr. and Lee Horned Antelope Sr.; and uncle Edward Brown Jr.
