Funeral services for Andrez “Andy” Joseph Rodriguez Jr., age 72, will be at 9:00 AM on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Sister Barb Bogenschutz officiating.
Burial will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Black HillsNationalCemetery in Sturgis, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD, with Prayer Services starting at 6:00 PM on Wednesday evening, March 28, 2018 in the hall.
Andy was a veteran in the U.S. Navy.
Andy was born on August 7, 1945 to Andrez Sr. and Leona (Fire Thunder) Rodriguez in Rapid City, SD. He made his journey to the Spirit World on March 25, 2018 at the Fort Meade VA Medical Center in Sturgis, SD.
Andy is survived by children Tony (Lorie) Rodriguez, Mark Rodriguez, and Lisa Rodriguez, all of Rapid City, SD; siblings Cecil (Connie) Rodriguez of Deer Park, WA, Marlene Rodriguez of Big Springs, TX, Deborah (Leon) Peltier of Spokane, WA, Carmen Janis of Everett, WA, Benny (Venus) Rodriguez of Rapid City, SD, Raymond (Nikki) Rodriguez of Hayward, CA, Beto (Ruth) Rodriguez of Rapid City, SD, Andrea (Tom) Looker of Everett, WA, and Charles (Miranda) Rodriguez of Spokane, WA; uncle Theodore Siers Sr. of Pine Ridge, SD; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Andy was preceded in death by parents Andrez Sr. and Leona (Fire Thunder) Rodriguez; brothers Jim Rodriguez and Lloyd Fire Thunder; niece Leona Janis; and nephew Joshua Janis.
