03/30/2018 - Travis Thunder Hawk
Funeral services for Travis Wade Thunder Hawk, age 38, will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Pine Ridge Elementary School Gym in Pine Ridge, SD with Charles McGaa officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Steve DuBray.
Burial will be at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Pine Ridge Elementary School Gym in Pine Ridge, SD with Prayer Services starting at 9:00 PM.
Travis was born on November 5, 1979 in Pine Ridge, SD to Randy Thunder Hawk and Nancy Z. Red Cloud-Perez. He made his journey to the Spirit World on March 24, 2018 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE.
Travis is survived by father Randy Thunder Hawk of Rockyford, SD; children Tionna Thunder Hawk, Tadreanna Thunder Hawk, Tatum Thunder Hawk, Tatelynn Thunder Hawk, and Talyah Thunder Hawk, all of Pine Ridge, SD; siblings Brenda (Lance) Perez-Brewer, Oma (Joe) Perez, Amy Wilson, and Susan (Clinton) Red Cloud, all of Pine Ridge, SD; uncles Guy Red Cloud, Marty Red Cloud, and Paul Red Cloud, all of Pine Ridge, SD, and Ernie Thunder Hawk, Clement Angel, and Roger Thunder Hawk, all of Rockyford, SD; aunts Geraldine Thunder Hawk, Lenora Angel, and Iris Thunder Hawk, all of Rockyford, SD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Travis was preceded in death by mother Nancy Red Cloud-Perez; grandparents Oliver and Helena (Twiss) Red Cloud, Vincent Thunder Hawk, and Adelia Afraid of Hawk; uncles Verdell Red Cloud Sr., Lyman Red Cloud Sr., and Anthony Red Cloud Sr.; and aunts Theresa Red Cloud and Esther Red Cloud.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Travis Wade Thunder Hawk.
