Funeral services for Norman Dale Red Star, age 62, will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Messiah Episcopal Church in Wounded Knee, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating.
Burial will be at the Red Star Homestead in Wounded Knee, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Messiah Episcopal Church in Wounded Knee, SD.
Norman was a veteran in the U.S. Army.
Norman was born on September 4, 1955 in Pine Ridge, SD to Wilbur Means and Lillian Red Star. He made his journey to the Spirit World on March 24, 2018 in Albuquerque, NM.
Norman is survived by mother Lillian Red Star of Wounded Knee, SD and siblings Gloria Wounded Foot, Anthony Boltz, Karen Boltz and Cindy Boltz, all of Wounded Knee, SD, Marvin Boltz of Colorado, Meredith Boltz of Rapid City, SD, and Brian Sitting Eagle of Omaha, NE.
Norman was preceded in death by father Wilbur Means and grandparents Paul Red Star Sr., Vina Eva Blunt Horn, and Edward Means.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Norman Dale Red Star.
