04/05/2018 - Reuben Cordell Twin Sr.
A one-day service for Reuben Cordell Twin Sr. “Inyan Sapa,” age 67, will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Kyle Community Church in Kyle, SD with funeral services starting at 12:00 PM. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Robert Two Crow.
Burial will be at the Yellow Hawk Family Cemetery near Kyle, SD.
Reuben was born on May 23, 1950 to John Twin and Elsie Broken Rope in Pine Ridge, SD. Reuben made his journey to the Spirit World on March 27, 2018 in Seattle, WA.
Reuben Sr. is survived by son Reuben Twin Jr.; granddaughter Rose Twin; sister Irvine Twin; and numerous cousins.
Reuben Sr. was preceded in death by parents John Twin and Elsie Broken Rope; wife Marlie Martinioli; and sisters Maxine Bull Bear, Serina Bull Bear, Belva Black Bear, Francis Twin and Mary Ann Twin.
