Funeral services for Kendra Dawn Williams, age 16, will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Crazy Horse School in Wanblee, SD with Reverend Harold Condon officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Larry Swalley.
Burial will be at the Winters Family Cemetery in Bear Creek, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Crazy Horse School in Wanblee, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM each night.
Kendra was born on August 10, 2001 to Donald Williams and Geraldine Richards. She made her journey to the Spirit World on April 14, 2018 in Box Elder, SD.
Kendra is survived by parents Donald Williams, Geraldine Richards, Jonathan and Rose Little Thunder, James Brown, and Kathy Montes; grandparents Reed and Anita Brown; aunt Marjorie Winters; sisters Kayla Richards/Larvie, Karley Williams, Elizabeth Williams, Mikah Herman, Jobie Little Thunder, and Shawn-T Brown; and brothers Jayden Williams, Jaelon Williams, Joseph Brown, and Jonnie Little Thunder.
Kendra was preceded in death by grandparents Lorraine Red Kettle, Leo Winters, Irene Blue Bird, and Kenneth Don Williams and great-grandparents Isabelle Red Kettle and Burgess Red Kettle.
