A Mass of Christian Burial for 73-year old Joann Clifford will be held Saturday, May 5, at 10:00 AM at at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD, with Father Peter Klink, S.J. and Mr. Charles McGaa officiating.

Burial will be at the Holy Rosary Mission Catholic Cemetery in Pine Ridge.

Vigil services will Friday May 4, starting at 4:00 pm also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rosary services starting at 7 pm.

Joann Clifford was born on January 30, 1945 in Pine Ridge, SD to Daniel and Edith (Pourier) Clifford.  Joann passed away on April 28, 2018 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.

Joann is survived by her daughter, Denee Bettelyoun of Pine Ridge, SD; son, Richard “Sheech” (Billie Jo) Greenwald of Pine Ridge, SD; siblings, Arlene Brewer, Daniel (Bernadette) Clifford, and Patti (Rick) Shangreaux all of Pine Ridge, SD, Rita Siderits and Doris Thibeault both of Rushville, NE, Melvin (Carol) Clifford of North Sioux City, SD, and Karen Nelson of Palma Valley, CA; grandchildren, Jade & James Stone, Serra Bettelyoun, Caezar Bettelyoun, Dallas Greenwald, Richard Greenwald, Jr., and Jadyn Greenwald; and great grandchildren, Celesia Dillon and Cookie Greenwald.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Edith Clifford; son, Johnny Clifford; and siblings, Larry J. Clifford, Lorna Clifford, and Myrna DuBray.
