Funeral services for Beverlee L. Wieting, age 89, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Chadron, NE.
A memorial has been established for the United Methodist Church in Chadron, NE.
Beverlee passed away on May 10, 2018 in Seward, NE. She was born on December 3, 1928 in Columbus, NE to Ed and Loretta Schulte. She moved to Norfolk, NE where she graduated from Sacred Heart High School. She married Bill Wieting on May 29, 1948 and lived several years in Oakland, NE before moving to Chadron, NE in 1960, where she became secretary to the Superintendent of Chadron Public Schools for many years. She loved playing bridge and taking family camping vacations. She moved to Seward, NE in 2016 to be closer to her family.
Family members include sons and daughters-in-law Scott and Diane Wieting of York, NE and Mark and Laurie Wieting of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren Lisa Wieting (Adam Dubas) of Denver, CO, Jeff Wieting of Denver, CO, Nate Wieting (Maggie) of Lincoln, NE, Greg Wieting (Jackie), and Atlanta and Ross Wieting (Alexandria) of Kansas City, KS; and seven great-grandchildren.
Beverlee was preceded in death by husband Bill in 2006, her parents, and brother Bill.
