Funeral services for Robert Carl Bear Killer, age 56, will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Church in Allen, SD with Reverend Rhoda Mesteth officiating.
Burial will be at the Inestimable Gift Church Cemetery in Allen, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Church in Allen, SD.
Robert was born on January 6, 1962 to Ralph Bear Killer Sr. and Lois Walking Bull and was raised by Oliver and Jessie (Walks Underground) Conquering Bear. He made his journey to the Spirit World on May 8, 2018 in Allen, SD.
Robert is survived by sisters Donna (Bear Killer) Hollis of Denton, TX, Deloris Bear Killer of Kyle, SD, Doris Grass of Gordon, NE, and Lydia Bear Killer and Minerva Bear Killer of Allen, SD; brothers Ralph Bear Killer Jr. of Rapid City, SD, Roland Bear Killer and Larry Bear Killer Sr. of Allen, SD, and Aurthor Ruff and Pat Ruff of Kyle, SD; nephews Dean Bear Killer, Emmanuel Bear Killer, Lenny Pourier, Mekko Bear Killer, Samuel Bear Killer, Larry Bear Killer Jr., Ryan Bear Killer, Tony Tallman, Charles Cortier Sr., Stacy Cortier, Andrew Cortier, George Cortier Sr., Tyler Cortier, Bryan Swallow, Richard Swallow, and John Swallow; nieces Ralphea Bear Killer, Lainey Bear Killer, Cherry Cortier, Jessie Cortier, Nita Bear Killer, Jeanette Amiotte, Bobbie Jo Pourier, and Deloris “Dee” Anderson; 74 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by parents Ralph Bear Killers Sr. and Lois Walking Bull; sisters Shirley Bear Killer and Corrine Ruff; nephews Leroy Bear Killer Sr. and Judd Cortier; and niece Paulette Pourier.
