Memorial services for Gail K. (Brown) August, age 70, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Clinton, NE.
Inurnment will be at 10:00 AM (CT) on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at DorchesterCemetery in Dorchester, NE.
A memorial has been established for C.A.R.E., and donations may be sent in care of Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343.
Gail was born on January 13, 1948 to Robert and Lucille Brown. She passed away on June 5, 2018 unexpectedly, but peacefully, in her home.
Gail married Gary August on August 26, 1967. They were blessed with two children, Alan and Julie, and two grandchildren, Emma and Jake. She loved spending time with her family, being outdoors, and horses.
She is survived by husband Gary, son Alan (Ann) August, daughter Julie August, grandchildren Emma and Jake, beloved dog Buzz, mother Lucille, brothers Charles (Phylis) Brown, Lyle (Diane) Brown, and Ken (Sarah) Brown, sister-in-law Carol (Ed) Zak, and numerous other extended family members.
Gail was preceded in death by father Robert Brown.
