Funeral Services for 65-year old Pervin Patricia Long Wolf will be at noon Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD, with Father Joe Daoust, S.J., officiating.

Cremation will follow the funeral services

A one-night wake service will be held Thursday, June 14, starting at 2:00 PM, also at Brother Rene Hall with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD, is in charge of arrangements for Pervin Patricia Long Wolf.


Pervin Patricia Long Wolf was born on April 19, 1953 in Oglala, SD to Antoine and Lucy Long Wolf.  Pervin passed away on June 7, 2018 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Pervin is survived by her children, Donnie Long Wolf, Lonnie Long Wolf, and Erick Long Wolf all of Box Elder, SD, and Desiree Long Wolf-Mason of Dover, AR; sisters, Verlyn Long Wolf, Priscilla Long Wolf, and Meredith Matsapto all of Rapid City, SD; brothers, Antonio Long Wolf, Jr. of Markleeville, CA, Vimber Long Wolf of Vacaville, CA, Galveston Long Wolf and Llewellyn Long Wolf, both of Rapid City, SD and Thomas Long Wolf of Pueblo, CO; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Pervin was preceded in death by his parents, Antoine and Lucy Long Wolf; and sister, Herestine Long Wolf.

Pallbearers will be: Duane Straw, Justin Straw, Patrick Dreaming Bear, Gene Long Elk, Curtis Crow and Chet Crow.
