Funeral Services for 51-year old Delphine Ann White Butterfly will be Saturday afternoon, June 16, 2018, at the Wounded Knee District School in Manderson, SD, with Father Edmund Yainao, S.J., officiating.

Burial Services will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Wounded Knee, SD

A one-night wake service will be held Friday, June 15, starting at 4:00 PM, Friday, also at the Wounded Knee District School in Manderson with Rosary services starting at 7:00 PM

Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD, is in charge of arrangements for Delphine Ann White Butterfly.

Delphine Ann White Butterfly was born on September 12, 1966 in Pine Ridge, SD to Rose Shott and Benjamin White Butterfly.  Delphine made her journey to the Spirit World on June 7, 2108 at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD.

Delphine was raised in Wounded Knee, SD and then moved to Rapid City, SD for sometime before finally settling in Sioux Falls, SD, with her special friend, Roland Archambault.

Delphine is survived by her children, DeWayne Eagle Tail of Rapid City, SD, Dawn White Butterfly and Marvin Runs Close, Jr. both of Sioux Falls, SD, Shawna Fletcher of Enoch, UT, Lynette Two Bulls and Veronica Two Bulls both of Pine Ridge, SD; sisters, Beverly Running Bear of Rapid City, SD, Phyllis Shott of Rockyford, SD, Gloria White Butterfly of Salt Lake City, UT, Carol White Butterfly of Sioux Falls, SD, Rita White Butterfly of Rapid City, SD, Karen Charging Cloud of Manderson, SD, and Joyce White Butterfly of Pine Ridge, SD; hunka sister, Lorelei Exendine of Sioux Falls, SD; and significant other, Roland Archambault of Sioux Falls, SD.

Delphine was preceded in death by her parents, Rose Shott and Benjamin White Butterfly; son, Jonathan White Butterfly; brothers, Lester White Butterfly and Philbert White Butterly; and sisters, Marianne White Butterfly and Faith “Bonnie” Plenty Arrows.
