Funeral services for Benita Barbara Mills, age 63, will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Wakpamni CAP Office in Pine Ridge, SD with Father Ed Hunt officiating.
Burial will be at the Body of Christ Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 4:00 PM on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Wakpamni CAP Office in Pine Ridge, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
Benita was born on June 19, 1955 in Pine Ridge, SD to Benjamin Mills and Rose Mae Rowland. She passed away on June 23, 2018 at RegionalWestMedicalCenter in Scottsbluff, NE.
Benita is survived by sons Angel (Jenni) Mills of Fort Morgan, CO and Armando Mills of Denver, CO; daughter Rosalinda (Jessie Lopez) Mills of Scottsbluff, NE; sister Elizabeth Rowland of Pine Ridge, SD; brothers Terry (Valorie) Mills, Marvin (Pauline) Mills, and Dewey Mills, all of Pine Ridge, SD, and Lincoln (Annie) Mills of Minneapolis, MN; and grandchildren Isaiah Mills, Jennaya Mills, Christian Mills, Leilani Mills, Arianna Mills, Jeremiah Mills, Elijah Sepulveda, Yesenia Sepulveda, and Damian Lopez.
Benita was preceded in death by parents Benjamin and Rose Mae Mills; sisters Valerie Mills and Bernadette Rowland; and brothers Stephen Rowland, Eugene Rowland, Perry Mills, and Anthony Mills.
