Leilani passed away on July 11, 2018 at her home in Hot Springs, SD. She was born on May 28, 1958, in Tucson, AZ to William and Gloria (Crowther) Bernard. Leilani proudly served in the U. S. Navy from 1982 until her honorable discharge in 1987.
Leilani is survived by husband Mike Homelvig of Hot Springs, SD; son Austin Bernard of Hot Springs, SD; stepsons Raymond (Mariah) Homelvig of Saratago, WY and Matthew (Beth) Homelvig of Jewel, KS; stepdaughters Carrie (Wade) Prokop of Piedmont, SD and Amanda (Alan) Davis of Mankato, KS; sisters Kim (Duane) Nelson of Dixon, NE, Connie Bernard of Kaneohe, HI, Bonnie Bernard of Canton, MA, and Dani (Todd) Ennenga of Edmonton, OK; and numerous grandchildren.
Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD is in charge of arrangements for Leilani Rae Homelvig.
