Funeral services for Paul Louis Daugherty, age 50, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD. Traditional Lakota services are To Be Announced.
Burial will be at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with evening services starting at 6:00 PM.
Paul was born on September 10, 1967 in Pine Ridge, SD to Forest Daugherty and Elizabeth Red Feather. He made his journey to the Spirit World on July 9, 2018 at his home in Rapid City, SD.
Paul is survived by children Wallace Cody Daugherty of Bismarck, ND, Rayonna Bissonette of Pine Ridge, SD, Kyla Provost of Rockyford, SD, Vera Daugherty and Olivia Daugherty of Kyle, SD, Jesse Byerly of Martin, SD, and Jennifer Byerly of Pine Ridge, SD; sisters Francine Big Crow of Pine Ridge, SD, twin Paulette Red Feather of Denver, CO, and Delores Red Feather and Veatrice Red Feather of Pine Ridge, SD; and brother Eddie Red Feather of Pine Ridge, SD.
Paul was preceded in death by parents Forest Daugherty and Elizabeth Red Feather; sisters Toby Red Feather and Julie Red Feather; and brothers John Daugherty and Delane No Neck.
