Services for Marjorie Ann Mansfield will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron, NE. 

Marjorie left this earth to be with our Lord on August 20, 2018. She was born in Chadron, NE on September 6, 1930 to Earl Wesley Snyder and Dorothy Doris Snyder (Luke). She was the third of seven children. As a young girl, she sewed many of her own clothes and sold homegrown produce all over Chadron. She was a tremendous help to her family by caring for her younger siblings and working outside of the home. Marjorie was a lifelong scholar of the Bible and member of the Megiddo Church in Rochester, NY. She was a devoted and wonderful mom to Steven, Rick, Rhonda and Nancie. Marjorie was married to Merle David Mansfield until his passing in 1989. She enjoyed helping Merle on their ranch north of Crawford.

She is survived by children Steven Meredith (Nancy), Rick Meredith (Bonnie), Rhonda Lange (Bill), and Nancie Riesen (Clint), sister Goldie Sommerville, and brother William Snyder. She loved spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents Earl and Dorothy, brothers Mark, Frank and June, a baby sister, and husband Merle.
