08/28/2018 - Mary Lou DuBray

Funeral service for Mary Lou DuBray, age 64, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Woyaton Lutheran Church in Rapid City, SD. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Dave Claymore.

Burial will be at the Pine Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.

A two-night wake service will begin with the first night starting at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Pass Creek CAP Office in Allen, SD. The second night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Woyaton Lutheran Church in Rapid City, SD. 

Mary Lou was born on May 23, 1954 in Pine Ridge, SD to Calvin Frazier and Anna Mae DuBray. She made her journey to the Spirit World on August 21, 2018 at her home in Rapid City, SD.

Mary Lou is survived by children Anna Marie DuBray, Robert Leo DuBray, Crystal Rae DuBray, and Ollie Jean DuBray, all of Rapid City, SD; grandchildren Calvin McCloskey, Wesley Dillon, Johnny Mae McCloskey, Whitney Dillon, Britney Dillon, John Dillon, Drake Cruz DuBray, Illeanna DuBray, Darius DuBray, Devin Dante DuBray, Xzavier Blaze DuBray, Verdell Long Soldier III, Chrystina Mary DuBray, Tryston Long Soldier, Esperanza Jade Dixon, James Dale Dixon, Wambli Cole Smith, Mato Damon Smith, Mary Lou Smith, and Denali Jesseleah DuBray; brothers Ed DuBray Sr. of Porcupine, SD and Myron “Chico” DuBray of Rapid City, SD; sisters Connie Hopkins of Rapid City, SD, Arlene Hopkins of Seattle, WA, and Tonya Guerra of Rapid City, SD; and one great-granddaughter of Hermosa, SD.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by parents Calvin Frazier and Anna Mae DuBray; grandson Robert Lee Charging; brother Clement Charles DuBray; nephew Carlos Hopkins; grandfather George Leo DuBray; grandmother Mollie Ollie DuBray; cousins Shanna DuBray, Clover Standing Bear, and Terry Olson; aunts and uncles Elizabeth DuBray, Cherrie Harper, Cleveland DuBray, Gordon DuBray, Carl DuBray, John DuBray, Theda Johnson, Spud DuBray, Jumbo DuBray, Gary Richards, and James Lee DuBray; and sister-in-law Thelma Bullman.

Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Mary Lou DuBray.
