Jazzy began her journey to the spirit world on Monday, September 2, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. She was born on May 28, 1997 in Rapid City, SD. Jazzy graduated from the Red Cloud High School with honors and continued her education at United Tribes College and Oglala Lakota College. Jazzy was also accepted into the Indian University of North America where she completed the freshmen and upper level programs.Jazzy was the best daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and aunt to all her family. Jazzy had reached big adulting milestones this past year. She rented her first apartment and owned her first car, both of which she was very proud of. Jazzy was an avid reader; her favorite book series were Twilight and The Little House on the Prairie. Jazzy had dreams of becoming a nurse like her mother and having a big family with lots of children.

Jazzy’s final selfless act of being an organ donor is a true embodiment of her character. At the young age of 21, she was the most kind, selfless, humble, gentle and loving woman everyone knew. She would move mountains for those she loved and would help anyone in need in whatever way she could. Never seeking validation, she did this because it’s who she is. She blessed everyone in this short time and is still teaching all about life in her final moments on earth.

Jazzy is survived by mother Evie Weston (Chad); brother Chance Weston (Kat); siblings Paul Lone Hill, Paul, Samantha, Baby John, and Little Hobart; great-grandmother Marilyn Gayton (Kenny); aunts Mary Bowman (Eddie), George Rice, and Carmen Weston (Silos); uncles Mark Lone Hill (Kelly), Steve Emery (Belva), Ron Kandlin (Di), Bodie Weston (Sandy), Scott Weston (Carol), Beans Weston (Thetna), and PT and Jenny Lone Hill; nieces and nephews Jojo, Sissy, Marley, Rio, AJ, and Kingston; and many cousins.

Jazzy was preceded in death by father Marlon “Moon” Weston; grandfathers Hobart Lone Hill Jr. and Spencer Weston; grandmothers Estelle “Poxy” Lone Hill and Eldean Weston; uncle Louis Lone Hill; aunts Colette Palu, Jeaneen Lone Hill and Colleen Weston; and cousin BJ Weston.
