Funeral services for Leslie James Moeller, age 61, will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the LaCreek CAP Office in Martin, SD with Pastor Darren Purdy and Pastor John Poff officiating.
Burial will be at the Lakota Chapel Cemetery in Martin, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the LaCreek CAP Office in Martin, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 23, 2018.
Leslie was born on September 1, 1957 in Pine Ridge, SD to Maroni James Moeller and Lucinda (Noisey) Moeller. He made his journey to the Spirit World on September 19, 2018 in Martin, SD.
Leslie is survived by sister Wanda Cottier of Martin, SD; nephew Johnny Ray Cottier of Martin, SD; and cousins Hermus Poor Thunder of Red Shirt, SD and J.D. Fly of Martin, SD.
Leslie was preceded in death by parents Maroni and Lucinda Moeller; brothers David and Fred Moeller; sister Theresa Moeller; grandmother Jenny Marshall-Two Bulls; and uncle Seth Noisey.
Pallbearers will be Mike Richards, Tim Stricker, Johhny Cottier, Tristan Conquering Bear, James Fly Cuny, Nano James, Alvin Cuny, and Philip Richards.
Honorary Pallbearers are JD Fly, Russell Fly, Hermus Poor Thunder, Skala Poor Thunder, Bernard “Sonny” Richards, James Mousseau, Aloysius Mousseau, Jennie Fly, Franki James, Reynold Richards, Fern Poor Thunder, Mary Bordeaux, Mary Poor Thunder, Sandy Fly, Isadore “June Bug” Poor Thunder, Ron Two Bulls, Don “Cuny Dog” Cuny, Street Angels, and all nieces, nephews, family and friends.
