Funeral services for Janielle Faith Rowland, age 45, will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Wounded Knee District School in Manderson, SD with Pastor William “Bill” Quijas and Apostle Pedro Sharpfish officiating.
Burial will be at the St. Thomas Episcopal Cemetery in Manderson, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Wounded Knee District School in Manderson, SD with Vigil Services at 7:00 PM on Friday.
Janielle was born on September 25, 1972 in Rosebud, SD to Clarence and Cordelia (Grey Grass) Rowland. She made her journey to the Spirit World on September 23, 2018 in Lead-Deadwood, SD.
Janielle is survived by children Blair Wolters, Blaine Rowland, Brayden Rowland, Briley Rodriguez and Bryson Rowland; siblings Brian Rowland, Coya (White Hat) Artichoker, Lynette White Hat, Casey White Hat, Lindsey White Lance, Sharm White Lance and Chavez White Elk; and one grandchild.
Janielle was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Cordelia Rowland; biological mother Delores F. White Lance; sisters Tisha (Grey Grass) Garry and Michelle White Hat; brother Yancy White Hat; and grandparents Noah White Lance Sr. and Madeline (Red Shirt) White Lance.
