Funeral services for Earl Dwayne Thunder Bull, age 66, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD with Elder Don Telford and Joe Cross officiating.
Burial will be at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Cemetery in Allen, SD.
Earl was a veteran in the U.S. Army.
A one-night wake service will begin at 4:00 PM on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
Earl was born on February 13, 1952 in Pine Ridge, SD to Vincent and Ella (Imitates Dog) Thunder Bull. He made his journey to the Spirit World on October 1, 2018 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Earl graduated high school from Little Wound High School in May 1976. After which, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.
Earl is survived by sons Charles Thunder Bull and Wesley Thunder Bull of Rapid City, SD; special friend Bonnie Richards of Pine Ridge, SD; sisters Bernadine (Bill) May of Tucson, AZ and Susan Big Crow, Phyllis Campbell, Dorothy Thunder Bull, and Amanda (Jim) Christensen, all of Kyle, SD; aunt Mildred Thunder Bull of Kyle, SD; hunka brother John Connally of Pittsburgh, PA; hunka sister Eunice Nassar of Pittsburgh, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Earl was preceded in death by parents Vincent and Ella Thunder Bull; son Duwayne Thunder Bulll; and grandparents Shield and Josephine (Bissonette) Thunder Bull, Wallace (Belle Black Bear) Imitates Dog, Douglas Thunder Bull, Rose Thunder Bull-White Face, Malcolm Thunder Bull, Cecil Thunder Bull, Linda Thunder Bull-Means, Faye Thunder Bull-Lone Hill, and Cora Thunder Bull-Bird Hat.
Pallbearers will be William Gourd, Cody Gourd, Dustin Gourd, Michael Ashley, Henry Clifford, Jamie Big Crow, Roger Campbell Jr., and Derek Lone Hill.
