Funeral services for Teonna Wright, age 14, will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Woyatan Lutheran Church in Rapid City, SD with Pastor Henrique Fleming officiating.
Burial will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the Woyatan Lutheran Church in Rapid City, SD.
Teonna was born on July 10, 2004. She made her journey on October 2, 2018 in Rapid City, SD back home where her Heavenly Father awaits her.
Teonna was born and raised in the beautiful Black Hills of Rapid City. Teonna was greatly loved by family and friends. She was a quiet, kind, and loving young lady. She was humorous, enjoyed children, and found strength in her many friends. Teonna with all her beauty and brightest smile gave others a sense of warmness.
Teonna is survived by parents Kendra Wright and Jason Stead; five siblings Julian, Jayda, Neveah, Jason Wright Jr. and Latoya Stead, all of Rapid City, SD; maternal grandparents Kenneth and Madonna Wright; paternal grandmother Karla Bordeaux; maternal uncles and aunts Anthony, Chastity, Mary, Kenneth Jr., Terry, Mathew, Ashten, Chandler and Telsin; paternal uncles and aunts Danielle, Stephanie, Walter, and Richard; great-grandparents Kateri Stands and Duane Lapointe of Wood, SD; many other grandparents near and far; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by aunt Rhiannon.
Teonna will be greatly missed, and being a part of her life is appreciated. Teonna was a high-spirited young lady whose life impacted all those near and far. Lots of love to our beautiful baby girl.
