A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert “Frosty” Duane Garnette, age 84, will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD with Officiant To Be Announced.
Burial will be at St. Stephen’s Catholic Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD with Rosary services starting at 7:00 PM.
“Frosty” was born on January 7, 1934 in Pine Ridge, SD to Henry and Grace (Giago) Garnette. He passed away on October 16, 2018 in Kyle, SD.
Robert is survived by wife Friederike “Rickie” Garnette of Kyle, SD; brothers James “Heavy” Garnette of Rapid City, SD, Darrell (Ruby) Garnette of Las Vegas, NV, and Joey (Shirley) Garnette of Rapid City, SD; and sisters Elizabeth Garnette-Anderson of Black Hawk, SD and Joanne Garnette-Cuny of Bismarck, ND. Robert was preceded in death by parents Henry and Grace Garnette; brothers William “Billy” Garnette and Martin “Pat” Garnette; and sister Louella Garnette.
