Memorial services for Arthur Lovard Lafferty, age 93, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD with Father Ron Seminara officiating.
Burial will be at 1:30 PM on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Lakota Freedom Veteran’s Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
Arthur was a veteran in the U.S. Navy.
Arthur was born on July 25, 1925 in Eagle Butte, SD to Gilbert Lafferty and Mary Ora Richards. He made his journey to the Spirit World on November 17, 2018 at the Hot Springs V.A. Hospital in Hot Springs, SD.
Arthur is survived by wife Verine Lafferty of Kyle, SD; sister Delores Hammond of Vale, OR; son Duane Lafferty of Kyle, SD; grandchildren Denton Fast Whirlwind of Kyle, SD and Cody Lafferty of Albuquerque, NM; and great-granddaughter Nina LaFontaine of Albuquerque, NM.
Arthur was preceded in death by parents Gilbert Lafferty and Mary Richards and son Delbert Lafferty.
