Funeral services for Brett Howard Waters, age 29, will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Reverend Rhoda Mesteth officiating.
Burial will be at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
Brett was born on February 21, 1989 in Pine Ridge, SD to Harold Waters and Clarinda “Dot” Eagle Bull. He made his journey to the Spirit World on November 19, 2018 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Brett is survived by children Lillian Kimberly Waters, Lilah Jaye Waters, Brett Howard Waters, and Labria Agnes Waters and their mother Elizabeth Brown Eyes; sister Marnie (Bill) Waters-Charging; brothers Loren Waters, Ryan (Bette) Waters, Garrett Waters, Tyler Waters, Rulon (Heather) Waters, and Jesse Waters; godson Jaydon Tyler Waters Charging; special nieces Darris “Dough” Eagle Bull and Laura Waters; grandpa Bud Waters; uncles Leo (Patty) Eagle Bull, Ryan Eagle Bull, Tom Waters, Lonnie Waters, Wayne Waters, and Forrest Waters; and aunts Sharon Waters and Mona Waters.
Brett was preceded in death by grandparents Toby and Nada Eagle Bull and JoAnn Goings-Waters; great-grandmothers Agnes Lamont and Jessie Good Shield-Waters; parents Clarinda Eagle Bull and Harold Waters; brother Branden Waters; aunt Jennie Eagle Bull; uncles George Eagle Bull, Davis Eagle Bull, Lawrence “Babe” Eagle Bull, Lester Waters, Darold George Waters, Darrell Donald Waters, and Morris Eagle Bull; and cousins Don Lloyd Eagle Bull, Ronald Louie Ferguson, and Misty Waters.
Pallbearers will be Donald Janis-Osbourn, JJ Eagle Bull, Jesse Waters, Lawrence John Eagle Bull, Lonnie Waters, Tom Janis, John Big Crow, and Tyler Waters-Franklin Janis.
