Funeral services for Ivan Stanley Hollow Horn “Wanbli Cikala,” age 46, will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Messiah Episcopal Church in Wounded Knee, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating. Traditional Lakota services are To Be Announced.
Burial will be at the Johnson Memorial Presbyterian Cemetery in Wounded Knee, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Messiah Episcopal Church in Wounded Knee, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
Ivan was born on January 30, 1972 in Pine Ridge, SD to Stanley “Billy” Hollow Horn and Florine Ice. He made his journey to the Spirit World on November 26, 2018 at his home in Rapid City, SD.
Ivan is survived by siblings Simona Hollow Horn, Frank Hollow Horn, Martina Hollow Horn, Amanda Hollow Horn, and William Jorge Hollow Horn, all of Rapid City, SD; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Ivan was preceded in death by parents Stanley “Billy” Hollow Horn and Florine Ice; brother Jonathan “Chuck” Hollow Horn; and grandparents Oscar and Rachel (Rock) Hollow Horn and Bernard and Lydia (Black Elk) Ice.
